I'm in ur tv, flappin wif terasorz
Here's what I know about pterosaurs:
(1) most of them were full of air
(2) some of them were rilly big
(3) they were worthy adversaries for WWI-era flying machines.
Despite this dearth of knowledge--or perhaps because of it!--I will be on TV talking about pterosaurs, at least briefly, in EVOLVE: Flight, premiering on the History Channel on Tuesday, Sept. 2. Check local listings for showtimes.

Simple question, errr, why_
It wasn't planned. We were in Utah shooting another project (which will be revealed at the dramatically appropriate moment) and while we were driving between locations we got to talking about pterosaurs. After a while they asked me if I'd like to repeat any of it on camera. Everything I told them was either common knowledge or a precis of Mark Witton's work, or yours, and I told them as much. Nevertheless, they needed someone devastatingly handsome and articulate, and I was there. Whatcha gonna do?
Ah. I was only asking becuase I knew Mike Habib and other pterosaur guys were on there, and while sauropods have many fascinating attributes, flight is not among them (probably), hence my curiosity. ;)

W4TP, foo!
Both clades are full of hot air though.
