The cool thing about being on a learning curve is that you regularly do stuff that makes your previous efforts look pretty lame. Like this (click to embiggify):
I do still use Macro mode. Everything I have read about digiscoping says to manually set the focus at infinity and then focus the image through the scope, but I have tried about every setting my Coolpix has and focusing the telescope by eye and then using Macro mode and autofocus gets me the best results. I do keep manual control on exposure time, though. Thanks for the kind words.
Awesome! Do you still use Macro/Flower mode for afocal projection too? Were you able to use zoom in the digital camera?
